In the mouth
Ample yet elegant on the palate, with mineral tension that balances the wine's richness beautifully. Flavours of exotic fruits, grapefruit and honey mingle with floral and spice notes. The finish is long, fresh and distinctly saline, with excellent aromatic persistence.
On the nose
Complex and expressive bouquet: candied citrus, exotic fruits (mango, pineapple), white flowers and a whisper of honey. Mineral notes complete the aromatic profile with precision and elegance.
On the eye
Pale straw colour with subtle luminosity
Breeding
Pale yellow robe with brilliant golden highlights
M. Francois
Albedo exemplifies the terroir of Irouléguy with admirable clarity. The steep, high-altitude vineyards on schist and clay-limestone soils impart a distinctive mineral character and freshness. This is an elegant white wine of genuine complexity, equally suited to gastronomic occasions or thoughtful cellaring. A fine choice for those who appreciate whites with structure, refinement and the capacity to evolve.
