A family house with roots going back to 1890

It was in 1890 that Julien Girard laid the foundations of what would become one of the most consistent family houses in the Grande Champagne appellation. The estate was built patiently, generation by generation, on the calcaire and argilo-calcaire soils — known locally as groie — that define this corner of the Charente. The Rémi Landier marque itself was created in 1973, giving a name and an identity to a tradition that had already been quietly maturing for the best part of a century.

Fifth-generation leadership: Géraldine Landier

In 2019, Géraldine Landier took over the direction of the house, becoming the fifth generation of her family to steward these vines.
