Arran is a single malt whisky distillery founded in 1995 on the Isle of Arran (Scotland). Founded by Harold Currie. Artisan distillation in copper pot stills. Range: Arran 10, 18, 21 Year Old, Barrel Reserve, Sherry Cask, Quarter Cask. Also produces the peated Machrie Moor whisky. Unpeated by default, fruity and elegant. An island whisky without excessive peat.
La distillerie a cette particularité de produire du whisky à base de variétés d'orge oubliées, ainsi qu’une série de single casks millésimés souvent embouteillés en brut de fût. Produit sur une île au bord du mainland écossais, son style ressemble plutôt à celui d'un whisky des Highlands.
