A distinguished dry Bergerac from three generations of family stewardship

  • Chateau Tour des Gendres, established as a vineyard in 1985 by the De Conti family, now tends 52 hectares within the Bergerac appellation. The estate's transition from mixed agriculture to dedicated viticulture reflects a commitment to quality and terroir expression.
  • Moulin des Dames represents the house's approach to dry white Bergerac: a wine of substance and aromatic complexity, crafted from organically farmed fruit and vinified to showcase the region's distinctive character.
  • This vintage offers genuine pleasure without pretension—a wine of real depth and food compatibility, reflecting honest winemaking rather than fashionable trends.

In the mouth
The palate opens with generous amplitude and subtle sweetness, supported by dense, aromatic fruit. The wine carries good length through to a clean, persistent finish with admirable balance.
On the nose
Aromas of dried apricot and candied fruit, with toasted undertones and a whisper of citrus zest. The bouquet develops gradually, revealing layers of complexity.
On the eye
Pale gold with subtle luminosity
Breeding
11 months in large oak vats on lees with regular stirring
M. Francois
A versatile accompaniment to creamed fish preparations, roasted poultry, and dishes enriched with truffles or oriental spicing. Also pairs thoughtfully with goat's cheese and blue-veined varieties. The wine's structure and aromatic profile make it equally at home as an aperitif wine.
