In the mouth
A fresh, lively attack that opens into a burst of ripe fruit flavours, with well-balanced acidity and a persistent, refreshing finish.
On the nose
Exuberant aromas of citrus and green apple, with white flowers and a subtle mineral undertone that adds refinement and complexity.
On the eye
Pale, luminous robe with a stream of fine bubbles dancing through the glass, promising a festive moment.
Breeding
A specific winemaking method for sparkling wines, designed to capture natural effervescence and varietal freshness whilst preserving the wine's purity and aromatic expression
M. Francois
This is a wine that works equally well as an aperitif or in a cocktail. I particularly enjoy it with Château Monluc's own Pousse Rapière, an Armagnac and orange liqueur—a thoroughly Gascon combination. Simply mix one part Pousse Rapière with seven parts Vin Sauvage, add a slice of orange, and you have something rather special.
