DOMAINE DUTERTRE
Established in Limeray, Indre-et-Loire, Domaine Dutertre farms 37 hectares of silex clay and tuffeau soils, south-facing along the Loire, in the Touraine Amboise appellation. A family estate since the late nineteenth century, now in its fifth generation, it carries a remarkable distinction: Gabriel Dutertre was a co-founder of the Touraine Amboise AOC in 1954. Gilles Dutertre continues that legacy through Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Côt and Sauvignon, each rooted in the character of the middle Loire. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the depth of its Chenin whites, the directness of its Cabernet Franc and Côt reds, and the rare historical legitimacy of a producer who helped shape the appellation itself. A dependable reference from the Loire Valley.
