A symbol of excellence, from a storied champagne house

  • A fruit-forward champagne characterised by freshness and elegance. The fine, consistent bubble structure creates a refined drinking experience throughout the glass.
  • The mousse is delicate and persistent, with a gentle, well-integrated effervescence that never overwhelms the palate. This restraint is the hallmark of serious champagne.
  • Remarkably versatile: equally at home as an aperitif, through a meal, or as a celebratory toast. The wine's balance and lightness make it a natural companion from start to finish.

Breeding
Ageing: A minimum of 3 years on laths (double the legal minimum), allowing the bubbles to integrate perfectly. Reserve wines: Approximately 20% reserve wines are used to ensure consistency of Venoge's flavour profile despite vintage variations.
On the eye
Luminous golden robe with a steady stream of fine bubbles.
On the nose
Delicate floral aromatics open the bouquet, gradually evolving towards brioche and a subtle hint of honey. The nose is inviting without being heavy.
In the mouth
Fresh and lively on the palate, with crisp acidity that drives the wine forward. The structure is light yet well-defined, with a clean, dry finish that leaves no harshness. Elegant and well-balanced throughout.
M. Francois
De Venoge's Cordon Bleu exemplifies the house's commitment to approachable, well-made champagne. I recommend it for those seeking a reliable bottle for everyday celebration—the kind of wine that performs beautifully whether you're opening it alone or with friends. The presentation box makes it a thoughtful gift.

CHAMPAGNE DE VENOGE

Established at 33 avenue de Champagne in Épernay, Champagne de Venoge is one of the appellation's most enduring Houses, working chalk-soil terroirs across the Marne. Founded in 1837 by Swiss négociant Henri-Marc de Venoge at Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, the House has built its identity on the mastery of all three Champagne varieties — Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay — in a style that balances structure with finesse, now carried forward under the Lanson-BCC group. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this House for the consistency of its cuvées, the depth of its history, and its assured positioning within one of the world's most demanding appellations. Nearly two centuries of Champagne-making, and the signature remains entirely its own.
