In the mouth
Well-built palate with firm, ripe tannins that frame the wine's structure. Good acidity supports a persistent, dry finish with lingering notes of smoke and spice.
On the nose
Intense and smoky, with secondary notes of garrigue and dark stone fruit. The bouquet develops gradually, revealing layers of complexity characteristic of mature Cairanne.
On the eye
Deep purple robe with fuchsia-tinged rim. Dense colour suggesting good structure and concentration.

Domaine Brusset is a family wine estate in Cairanne (Vaucluse), southern Rhône Valley. Founded in 1947. Around 90 hectares of vines. Grapes: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Viognier. Appellations: Gigondas, Cairanne, Ventoux, Côtes du Rhône Villages. Organically farmed. Diverse range of southern Rhône wines. Available at Les Halles de Quercamps.
