Product features : Chapoutier Blanc de l'Oree 1999 Hermitage White 75cl

In the mouth
Generous attack with ample body and impressive complexity. Ripe stone fruits, spice, and toasted notes build to a long, elegant finish with refreshing acidity that lifts the palate.
On the nose
Powerfully aromatic: warm stone, honeyed caramel, and ripe citrus fruit mingle with acacia and hawthorn florals. The bouquet is both rich and refined.
On the eye
Intense golden yellow with green and amber reflections. A colour that speaks to ripeness and mineral character.
Breeding
Ageing on lees with regular stirring for 6 months. Before bottling, barrel ageing is monitored through frequent tastings. Total ageing lasts 10 to 12 months.
M. Francois
I would recommend this alongside seared foie gras or roasted marrow bones with black truffle. The wine's richness and mineral backbone complement these dishes beautifully. It is also splendid simply as a meditation wine, revealing new layers with each glass.
