Organic Roussillon white from ancient vines and complex terroir

  • The domaine occupies 85 hectares in the foothills northwest of Perpignan, with 45 hectares of vines—some over 120 years old. Positioned at 150–200 metres altitude, the vineyard commands views eastward across 20 kilometres to the Mediterranean, benefiting from significant maritime influence that shapes the wine's character.
  • The terroir combines sedimentary limestone to the north with ancient primary schist further south, often interlayered in vertical strata. This geological complexity encourages deep root penetration and contributes to the wine's aromatic richness and mineral structure.
  • A direct-sourced wine from Les Halles de Quercamps, offering the quality and authenticity of a family domaine without unnecessary markup.

Breeding
Eight months' élevage in 500-litre barrels, fifteen months in bottle
On the eye
Brilliant pale gold with subtle orange glints
On the nose
Aromatic and inviting: lychee and rose petals, with white peach and apricot, underpinned by herbal notes and a whisper of citrus blossom
In the mouth
Fresh and elegant, with a dense yet silky texture. The palate balances ripe stone fruit against mineral acidity, closing with a mentholated note and delicate orange-blossom finish
M. Francois
This is a wine I return to often—it captures the essence of Roussillon's maritime influence without affectation. Serve it as an aperitif, or pair it with oysters, grilled sole with lemon butter, or simply grilled white fish. The organic farming and age of the vines give it a complexity that rewards attention. A genuine expression of terroir.
