On the eye
Pale gold with brilliant reflections, the wine presents an inviting clarity typical of the appellation.
On the nose
The bouquet opens with floral notes—white flowers predominate—alongside fresh orchard fruit. A subtle minerality suggests the limestone-rich soils of Buxy.
In the mouth
Tender and aromatic on the palate, with white flower and hazelnut notes developing through the mid-palate. The acidity is crisp without harshness, lending freshness and food-friendliness.
This Aligote pairs naturally with charcuterie, omelettes, and poached fish in cream sauce. Shellfish and goat's cheese are natural companions. The wine is also the traditional base for Kir Bourguignon, where a touch of blackcurrant liqueur enhances its subtle charm.

Les Vignerons de Buxy is a cooperative winery in Buxy, Côte Chalonnaise (Burgundy). Founded in 1931. Around 120 growers and 870 hectares. Grapes: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Appellations: Montagny, Givry, Mercurey, Rully, Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise, Crémant de Bourgogne. Good-value Burgundy terroir wines.
