Environ 12 à 15 mois en œufs béton, amphores en terre cuite et demi-muids usagés. Aucun bois neuf n'est utilisé pour préserver l'expression la plus pure et cristalline du terroir sableux.

Robe rouge rubis brillante, limpide, d'une intensité fluide et élégante (caractéristique des grands grenaches sur sables).
On the nose
Captivant de finesse et de complexité. Bouquet aérien de petites baies rouges (fraise des bois, framboise, pivoine), d'écorce d'orange amère, de poivre blanc, rehaussé par une touche minérale et florale d'une grande délicatesse.

Silica est le sommet de la pyramide des cuvées du Château Pesquié. En isolant ce terroir de sable unique (qui rappelle les plus illustres terroirs de Châteauneuf-du-Pape comme Rayas), la famille Chaudière signe un vin qui défie l'image traditionnelle du Rhône méridional. C'est une cuvée de haute couture, axée sur la transparence du fruit, la fraîcheur d'altitude et une finesse tannée inégalée. Un grand vin de garde d'une élégance absolue.

CHATEAU PESQUIE
Château Pesquié is a wine estate in the Ventoux appellation, at the foot of Mont Ventoux (Vaucluse). Owned by the Chaudière-Bastide family. Around 95 hectares at 300-400 m altitude. Grapes: Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Roussanne, Viognier, Clairette. Organically farmed. The wines express the freshness brought by the altitude and the mistral of Ventoux.
