Discover the understated elegance of white Graves

  • A refreshing white Bordeaux with pronounced fruit character and natural balance. This Graves blanc expresses the terroir of the region without artifice, offering genuine appeal to those seeking wines beyond the conventional.
  • Vibrant and fruit-driven, yet refined rather than aggressive. The wine maintains excellent freshness throughout, with a structure that speaks to careful winemaking and respect for the vintage.
  • Harmonious balance between fruit expression and acidity. The wine achieves roundness and length on the palate, finishing with a subtle acidulous note that encourages the next sip.

On the eye

Ce vin à la couleur jaune pâle brillante.

On the nose

Exprime aux nez des notes de fleurs blanches et d'agrumes.

In the mouth

Set in Roaillan at the heart of the Graves, Château de Respide extends across 80 hectares of sandy-gravelly, clay, and limestone soils, producing red and white Bordeaux of real character. Founded in 1630, the château passed through several hands before Amélie and Pierre-Edouard Chatin took the reins in 2021, bringing fresh energy to a vineyard now farmed to HVE certification. Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, nephew of a former owner, was a regular guest here — a detail that speaks to the singular history of this place. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour of its viticulture, the breadth of its encépagement, and the consistent balance it strikes between structure and freshness. A true Bordeaux of terroir, rooted in history and carried forward by a new generation.
