Product features : Famille Brunier – Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc Clos Roquete

Breeding
Aged on lees in barrels and demi-muids. Bottled at 10 months of age
On the eye
Pale straw yellow with brilliant clarity and crystalline reflections
On the nose
Delicate and floral with jasmine, lilac and almond blossom. The bouquet evolves towards white stone fruits—vineyard peach and juicy pear—with citrus zest and mineral notes.
In the mouth
Satiny and elegant with a more refined structure than many southern Rhône whites. The mid-palate gains volume whilst maintaining a saline tension that provides lift and definition throughout.
M. Francois
This is a wine of subtlety and energy. Where the Vieux Télégraphe blanc invites winter contemplation, the Clos Roquete is a wine of spring light, ideally suited to fine dining. It offers genuine complexity without the occasional heaviness of southern wines. Consider pairing with foie gras for an unexpected harmony.

FAMILLE BRUNIER

On the Crau plateau at Bédarrides, Famille Brunier farm 70 hectares of Châteauneuf-du-Pape across galets roulés and red clay soils, currently in organic conversion. Founded in 1891 by Henri Brunier, the estate is now in the hands of its sixth generation — Nicolas, Édouard and Manon — who joined between 2015 and 2018, bringing fresh rigour to a house already defined by its command of Grenache Noir and deep-rooted sense of terroir. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the consistency of its age-worthy reds and the character of its whites — both faithful expressions of one of the Rhône Valley's most clearly defined terroirs. A dependable reference for anyone seeking Châteauneuf-du-Pape at its most complete.
