Ripe stone fruit with refined, delicate character. Bright citrus notes dominate, with a distinctive mineral quality—reminiscent of petrichor, that distinctive scent of rain on stone.
In the mouth
Round and supple on the palate, with white flower notes and the fine-grained texture characteristic of well-made Aligoté. Mineral finish with excellent balance.
A wine of considerable charm and precision. The 2024 vintage shows excellent definition. Serve chilled alongside white fish, shellfish, or as an aperitif. Its mineral backbone and fresh acidity make it particularly suited to grilled seafood and lighter preparations. Drink now through 2027.

Domaine A. et P. de Villaine is a wine estate in Bouzeron, Côte Chalonnaise (Burgundy). Directed by Pierre de Villaine (co-manager of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti) and his wife Elaine. Around 30 hectares farmed organically. Appellations: Bouzeron (Aligoté), Rully, Mercurey, Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise. Terroir wines of finesse and precision.
