Vieilles vignes, some over a century old, from the heart of the domaine

  • The Lladoner Pelut grape expresses itself with distinctive liquorice and black pepper aromatics, layered with ripe red fruit and subtle spice. A wine of considerable character and depth.
  • This is a generous, powerful expression of southern Rhône terroir. The wine commands attention on the palate with its structure and presence, demanding respect and patience.
  • Cellar this wine for several years to allow its complexity to unfold fully. Premature opening would do it a disservice; time will reward the patient collector.

Product features : Le Clos des Fees de Battre Mon Cœur s'Est Arrete 2024

Breeding
Twelve months' élevage without racking in a single batch in a traditional concrete vat
On the eye
Intense ruby, deep and lustrous
On the nose
Red fruits—cherry and plum—mingle with black pepper, liquorice, and subtle vanilla oak. The aromatics are layered and evolving.
In the mouth
Dense and complex on the palate, with fine tannins and excellent length. The wine displays admirable structure and a lingering finish that speaks to its quality.
M. Francois
A wine of genuine substance, best appreciated alongside robust fare. Consider pairing with beef daube and its vegetables, or other slow-cooked meat dishes where the wine's power and complexity can shine. The tannins and depth make this a natural companion to traditional French bistro cooking.
