Breeding
On fine lees in stainless steel
On the eye
Pale, delicate rose hue with good clarity
On the nose
Red fruits and lychee lead, followed by rhubarb and citrus notes, particularly pink grapefruit. The aromatic profile is fresh and inviting without being showy.
In the mouth
Firm attack with a well-rounded mid-palate. The wine carries good tension through to a spiced, mineral finish that rewards attention.
M. Francois
L'Apprentie Sorciere demonstrates the quality that emerges when a producer respects the terroir of Côtes Catalanes rather than pursuing fashionable sweetness. Equally at home as an aperitif or at table with Asian cuisine, grilled fish, or charcuterie. A wine of genuine versatility and character.
