The singular expression of Moulin-à-Vent terroir

  • This monopole vineyard represents the Labruyère family's commitment to authentic winemaking. The 2023 vintage delivers a compelling sensory experience, balancing richness with elegance and reflecting the distinctive character of its terroir.
  • A wine of genuine substance for the discerning collector. The monopole status—sole ownership of the vineyard—ensures consistency and individuality rarely found in Beaujolais. This vintage merits serious consideration.
  • Generations of viticultural knowledge converge in each bottle. The Moulin-à-Vent appellation's granite-rich soils impart distinctive minerality and structure, whilst careful élevage preserves the wine's natural complexity and refinement.

Product features : Domaine Labruyere Moulin a Vent le Clos du Moulin a Vent - Monopole

Breeding
Aged in oak barrels for harmonious integration of woody aromas
On the eye
Deep, intense ruby with purplish undertones. A wine of substance and depth.
On the nose
Ripe red fruits dominate—cherry and plum—with floral notes and a subtle spiced oak character. The bouquet unfolds gradually, revealing layers of complexity.
In the mouth
Rich and structured, with dark fruit, earthy undertones, and warming spice. Silky, well-integrated tannins provide backbone without harshness. A wine of considerable depth and balance.
M. Francois
The Clos du Moulin-à-Vent Monopole exemplifies what serious Beaujolais can achieve. Its complexity and refinement suit red meat dishes—venison, beef—and mature cheeses. A wine for those who value authenticity and individuality over fashion.
