A singular expression of Corsican terroir

  • This rosé from the Taravo valley offers a distinctive sensory experience, balancing vibrancy with restraint. The wine reflects the character of Corsican biodynamic viticulture, revealing terroir rather than technique.
  • Faustine rosé is an ideal companion for convivial dining. Its mineral precision and savoury structure complement grilled meats, seafood, and Mediterranean fare with genuine elegance.
  • Each glass reveals the authenticity of Corsica. Delicate aromas of wild red fruits and garrigue unfold across a silken palate, finishing with white stone fruit and subtle spice.

Product features : Abbatucci "Faustine" 2025 Vin de France Corse

Breeding
Brief ageing of approximately 6 months in stainless steel on fine lees to preserve the fruit purity and energy of the wine.
On the eye
Pale salmon-pink with copper-tinged highlights. A refined appearance, far removed from mass-produced standards.
On the nose
Complex and distinctive. Notes of tart red berries—redcurrant and wild raspberry—mingle with Corsican maquis (myrtle, dried herbs) and gentle spice. Nothing of the confected character found in many commercial rosés.
In the mouth
Lively attack with fine texture. A silken mouthfeel carries through to a delicate, savoury finish touched by white stone fruit—peach and apricot—with lingering mineral grip.
M. Francois
One of Corsica's most distinctive and sought-after rosés. Produced under biodynamic principles, Faustine expresses the Taravo valley with character and precision. A wine of substance, not fashion. Pairs exceptionally well with grilled meats and Mediterranean cuisine.

Biodynamic farming since 2000, led by Jean-Charles Abbatucci and his daughter Faustine. A unique conservatory of 18 indigenous Corsican grape varieties was established in the 1960s by Antoine Abbatucci. Main grapes: Vermentino, Sciacarello, Nielluccio.
