Breeding
Aged 8 to 10 months, of which 70% in ovoidal vat and 30% in barrel and demi-muit of over 8 years old.
On the eye
Deep ruby-red colour with excellent clarity and vibrancy.
On the nose
Bright, fresh red and dark berries dominate: raspberry, blueberry, and wild blackberry. The aromatics are clean and precise, with subtle spice undertones.
In the mouth
The tannins are remarkably fine and supple, almost imperceptible. The palate is juicy and generous, with a sensation of biting into ripe fruit. The structure is balanced and the finish lingers with quiet elegance.
Cuvée L is the benchmark for approachable Syrah pleasure. Combier has achieved something rare: a wine that satisfies both the newcomer seeking immediate fruit and the experienced drinker appreciating technical precision and flawless execution.
