Breeding
Twelve months' élevage in Burgundian oak barrels (new to three years old). Extended twelve months' ageing in bottle.
On the eye
Deep, brilliant purple robe.
On the nose
Intense bouquet of blackberry and blackcurrant, with violet notes, subtle spice and a whisper of leather. Aromatic complexity unfolds gradually.
In the mouth
Structured and velvety palate with dark fruit, white pepper, liquorice and a sustained finish. Tannins are refined and well-integrated throughout.
