Product features : Maison Louis Jadot - Bourgogne Rouge Couvent des Jacobins

Breeding
Aged in oak barrels for 9 to 12 months, imparting fine complexity and subtle oak character to the wine.
On the eye
Deep ruby red with good intensity
On the nose
Red fruit character with notes of cherry, raspberry and redcurrant. A hint of spice emerges as the wine opens, reflecting the careful élevage typical of the house style.
In the mouth
Well-balanced and concentrated on the palate. The tannins are ripe and integrated, complementing the red fruit flavours with good structure. A wine of elegance rather than power, with a clean, persistent finish.
M. Francois
This Bourgogne Rouge pairs naturally with game dishes and red meat preparations. Consider it alongside duck with green peppercorn sauce, or roasted venison. The wine's acidity and structure also make it suitable for lighter meat courses and charcuterie. Serve at 16-17°C to appreciate its full character.
