On the nose
The bouquet expresses ripe red fruits with subtle secondary notes developing as the wine opens. A classic Bordeaux profile with good aromatic depth.
In the mouth
The palate is forthright and well-fleshed, displaying good substance and structure. Harmonious tannins provide a solid framework, whilst the finish demonstrates pleasing length and balance.
A well-constructed Bordeaux of genuine character. The Cuvée Valerie pairs admirably with roasted beef and lamb, game birds, and mature hard cheeses. Best enjoyed from 2023 onwards, with cellaring potential through the next decade for those who prefer fuller development.
