Elegance captured in a Loire red

  • This Cabernet Franc represents the convergence of Loire Valley tradition and considered winemaking. The 2023 vintage reflects the care invested in vineyard and cellar, revealing the character that defines Domaine Henri Bourgeois's approach to fine wine.
  • The wine expresses the distinctive terroir of the Loire Valley, where chalk and clay soils combined with temperate climate conditions produce Cabernet Franc of genuine character. The vintage captures the essence of this celebrated region.
  • A wine of versatility and restraint, suited equally to an evening with friends, a quiet moment of reflection, or the table. Petit Bourgeois represents accessible quality—the expression of French winemaking values without pretension.

Breeding
In stainless steel
On the eye
Brilliant, clear appearance
On the nose
Red fruit character dominates—notes of redcurrant and cherry with subtle herbaceous undertones characteristic of Loire Cabernet Franc
In the mouth
Fresh and balanced on the palate, with natural acidity providing structure. The wine shows good definition without heaviness, finishing with clean, dry character
M. Francois
This wine pairs readily with poultry and lighter meat preparations. A charcuterie board is an excellent companion—the acidity and fruit cut through richness effectively. Consider also with roasted vegetables or simple bistro fare. Serve at cellar temperature for optimal expression.
