Breeding
Ageing for 10 to 12 months. The estate predominantly uses vats or previously used barrels to avoid excessive oak influence and allow the fruit to express itself freely.
On the eye
Bright ruby robe with excellent clarity and luminosity.
On the nose
Perfumed and inviting, with prominent notes of raspberry and cherry, complemented by delicate hints of lavender and violet. The bouquet is clean and well-defined.
In the mouth
Moderately warm and gently spiced, with a refreshing whisper of eucalyptus in the background. The tannins are round and supple, whilst the acidity remains lively and well-balanced throughout.
This wine pairs admirably with braised rabbit, duck breast, beef bourguignon, and lasagne à la bolognaise. It also complements farmhouse cheeses with considerable elegance. Serve at 14-16°C for optimal enjoyment.
