Breeding
Gentle pressing, then shared élevage: 50% in stainless steel on lees, 50% in oak barrels for 12 months
On the eye
Deep ruby with intense garnet hues
On the nose
Complex and fruited, with blackcurrant, blackberry and morello cherry, complemented by a whisper of white pepper
In the mouth
Ample and structured, with ripe tannins that are supple rather than aggressive. The wine shows good depth and a lingering finish
Pairs well with roasted pork, lamb tagine, charcuterie, barbecued meats, mushroom velouté, chilli con carne, moussaka, meatballs in Asian sauce, pizza, quiche and lasagne. A versatile table wine for informal entertaining.

Vignerons Ardéchois is a union of cooperative wineries in the Ardèche (Southern Rhône). Bringing together over 800 growers and 6,000 hectares. Grapes: Syrah, Grenache, Merlot, Chardonnay, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc. Appellations: IGP Ardèche, Côtes du Vivarais. Diverse production of good-value red, rosé and white wines.
