Breeding

On the eye
Pale golden yellow with bright green glints. Clear and luminous in the glass.
On the nose
An open, engaging bouquet of pear and golden apple with white spring flowers—acacia particularly. Fresh hazelnut and subtle brioche notes typical of unoaked Chardonnay, underpinned by a chalky minerality.
In the mouth
Soft, enveloping attack with a round, generous palate. The texture is fuller than many Loire whites, the fruit echoing the nose with added sweet almond notes. A crisp, mineral finish provides definition and length.
