Breeding
Ten percent in stainless steel; the remainder in 228-litre Burgundy barrels of varying ages: new (32%), one vintage (7%), two vintages (21%) and five vintages (30%)

Cave de Tain is a cooperative winery founded in 1933 in Tain-l'Hermitage (Drôme), Rhône Valley. The largest Hermitage producer. Around 300 growers and 1,050 hectares. Grapes: Syrah, Marsanne, Roussanne. Appellations: Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Cornas, Saint-Péray. Parcel-by-parcel vinification. Full range of Northern Rhône appellations.
