Breeding
Ageing will take place over 24 to 30 months
On the eye
Deep garnet with purplish hues, translucent and luminous
On the nose
Fine and intense bouquet mingling blackcurrant with subtle spice and toasted notes. The aromatics are airy and classically composed, revealing layers with each breath.
In the mouth
Elegant and linear on the palate, with silken texture and enveloping body. Fresh fruit character dominates mid-palate, whilst the finish turns earthier with chalky minerality. Blackcurrant and menthol emerge through the final notes, underscored by spice and subtle oak influence.

Le Vau Renou pairs beautifully with roasted and sauced red meats, game terrines, and charcuterie. Its mineral spine and fresh acidity make it equally suited to lighter fare—duck confit, beef carpaccio, or aged Comté. Serve at 14–16°C for optimal expression.
