Breeding
Aged for 12 months in oak barrels (with a moderate proportion of new oak) from François Frères cooperage
On the eye
Deep ruby with garnet reflections, suggesting maturity and balance.
On the nose
Expressive bouquet of ripe red fruits—cherry and raspberry—with delicate notes of violet, liquorice and forest floor. The aromatics develop with gentle aeration.
In the mouth
Silky, fine-grained tannins frame flavours of black cherry, raspberry and subtle spice. A whisper of oak provides structure without dominance. The finish is long, harmonious and leaves a pleasant, lingering impression.

Domaine Sarrazin et Fils is a family wine estate in Jambles, Givry appellation (Burgundy). Grapes: Pinot Noir (reds) and Chardonnay (whites). Appellations: Givry, Givry Premier Cru. Around 20 hectares on clay-limestone soils. Traditional vinification with oak-barrel ageing. Fine, fruity wines representative of the Côte Chalonnaise.
