Breeding
16 to 18 months in French oak barrels (approximately 25-30% new oak)
On the eye
Deep purple to black, with violet hues
On the nose
Cassis and dark berries mingle with violet, liquorice and subtle smoke. Spice notes emerge as the wine opens, revealing the complexity of the vintage.
In the mouth
Ample and structured, with ripe, well-integrated tannins. The palate shows elegant spice in the finish, supported by a silken texture and admirable length. Balanced and refined throughout.
This Syrah pairs beautifully with duck breast and mushrooms, venison, beef dishes such as tournedos Rossini, and regional gratins. Its structure and spice also suit Provençal daube and other slow-cooked meat preparations. Serve at 16–17°C.

Les Vins de Vienne is a wine merchant founded in 1996 by Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard and François Villard in Chavanay (Loire). Specialising in terroir wines from the Northern Rhône Valley. Appellations: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas. Grapes: Syrah, Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne. Pioneering the revival of the Seyssuel vineyards.
