Product features : Louis Chèze "Sixtus" Vignobles de Seyssuel - Terres de Viennae 2024 IGP Vin de Pays

Breeding
Aged on fine lees in oak barrels for approximately 10 to 12 months, with a moderate proportion of new wood (around 20%), to preserve freshness whilst adding complexity and texture.
On the eye
Pale golden yellow with bright, luminous reflections
On the nose
Expressive bouquet revealing white flowers—acacia in particular—alongside stone fruits of peach and apricot. A subtle citrus note emerges, with delicate vanilla undertones from oak maturation.
In the mouth
Ample and well-balanced, with refreshing acidity supporting the wine's richness. White stone fruits and citrus meld with floral notes and a mineral finish. Silky texture with honeyed and spiced nuances that extend the aftertaste.
M. Francois
Sixtus Blanc exemplifies refined balance, capturing the richness of Viognier and Roussanne on Seyssuel's unique terroir. Fruity and floral aromatics combined with mineral precision make this an excellent choice for seafood, grilled fish, and white meats. Its silky texture and long, fresh finish render it both elegant and gastronomic—ideal for those seeking white wines of substance and vitality.

DOMAINE LOUIS CHEZE

On the granite hillsides of Limony in Ardèche, Domaine Louis Cheze works 35 hectares within the Saint-Joseph appellation, on the right bank of the Rhône. Louis Chèze took over the property in 1978 with a single hectare, building the estate steadily around Syrah for the reds and Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier for the whites, with yields held between 25 and 40 hl/ha depending on the cuvée. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the consistency of its wines, the frank mineral expression of Limony's granite, and the commitment of three generations — Louis, Camille and Benoît Chèze — to one of the northern Rhône's most demanding terroirs. A dependable reference from the Vallée du Rhône.
