Aromas of red berries—raspberry and strawberry—with emerging notes of spice and subtle earthiness as the wine opens
In the mouth
Firm but elegant tannin structure. Flavours of raspberry, strawberry and cherry evolve towards woodland floor, tobacco and leather with air time. A wine of good balance and length.
A natural companion to traditional Burgundian fare: braised meats, beef grillades and entrecôte, coq au vin, lamb in sauce, gratins and mature cheeses. The wine's structure suits hearty, slowly cooked dishes particularly well.

Les Vignerons de Buxy is a cooperative winery in Buxy, Côte Chalonnaise (Burgundy). Founded in 1931. Around 120 growers and 870 hectares. Grapes: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Appellations: Montagny, Givry, Mercurey, Rully, Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise, Crémant de Bourgogne. Good-value Burgundy terroir wines.
