Pale gold with subtle green reflections

Refined and precise, with a mineral character that recalls chalk and flint. White orchard fruit emerges gradually, underpinned by a steely minerality that defines the terroir.
In the mouth
The palate shows ripe fruit balanced by a crisp, almost austere mineral spine. The oak is present but measured, lending structure without dominating. The finish is clean and persistent, with a lingering chalky minerality.

Domaine A. et P. de Villaine is a wine estate in Bouzeron, Côte Chalonnaise (Burgundy). Directed by Pierre de Villaine (co-manager of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti) and his wife Elaine. Around 30 hectares farmed organically. Appellations: Bouzeron (Aligoté), Rully, Mercurey, Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise. Terroir wines of finesse and precision.
