Product features : Domaine de Montille "Monthelie Pinot Noir" 2022 Monthelie

On the eye
Deep ruby, with good intensity of colour
On the nose
Pronounced fruit character on the nose: red berries with subtle floral and mineral notes. The bouquet opens gradually, revealing layers of complexity without heaviness.
In the mouth
Lively and structured, with a distinctly savoury character that adds complexity without diminishing the fruit. The wine shows good definition, with mineral undertones and a persistent finish that speaks to the vineyard's stony terroir.
M. Francois
The Plantes vineyard, from which this wine derives, sits on a shallow, stony soil poor in organic matter—conditions that concentrate flavour and promote elegance. Often vinified with whole-bunch fruit, the wine develops spiced, mineral and floral characteristics. Monthélie, named from the Latin for 'small hill', has long produced wines of finesse and freshness.
