On the eye
Clear, pale gold in colour with a bright, luminous appearance.
On the nose
The bouquet is fresh and distinctly mineral, revealing notes of citrus fruit, Granny Smith apple, flint and delicate floral hints, with a whisper of beeswax on the finish.
In the mouth
A pure, well-defined palate with greater depth and length than typical Bourgogne Blanc. The wine displays fine balance between ripe fruit and crisp acidity, with a mineral backbone that speaks clearly of its terroir.
This wine demonstrates considerable equilibrium between mature fruit character and refreshing acidity. The structure is refined rather than heavy, with the mineral notes providing definition and length. A Bourgogne Blanc that rewards careful attention and pairs well with fine white fish, shellfish, and lighter poultry dishes. Drink now through 2027.

Domaine de Montille is based in Volnay, Côte de Beaune (Burgundy). Founded in the 1750s, renamed 'de Montille' in 1863. Run by Étienne de Montille. Vineyard of 37 hectares, 75% classified premier and grand cru. Grapes: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Biodynamic certification (Ecocert since 2012). Appellations include Volnay, Pommard, Corton, Clos de Vougeot and Puligny-Montrachet.
