Deep ruby
On the nose
An elegant bouquet of dried rose petals mingles with fresh red berries—redcurrant and morello cherry—revealing the wine's classical Burgundian profile.
In the mouth
Fresh red fruit aromas unfold on the palate, supported by already supple tannins and a vibrant acidity that suggests promising development. The structure is accessible yet rewarding.
M. Francois
The 2022 displays an airy, refined profile—lighter in frame than some Clos Vougeot, yet with concentrated aromatics that belie its elegance. This is a wine of restraint and poise, built for the medium term rather than immediate consumption.

DOMAINE DE MONTILLE

Set on the argilo-calcaire slopes of Volnay in the Côte-d'Or, Domaine de Montille farms 35 hectares under certified organic and biodynamic principles. Founded around 1750 and relaunched by Hubert de Montille in 1947 with a firm rejection of the négoce trade, the estate is now guided by his son Étienne, who deepened the biodynamic commitment and extended the portfolio with the acquisition of Château de Puligny-Montrachet in 2012. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are grown with quiet rigour, producing wines of mineral clarity and genuine Volnay finesse. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this estate for its multi-generational consistency, the integrity of its viticulture, and the way its terroirs speak plainly in the glass.
