Refined elegance from the Luberon limestone hills

  • This 2023 white from Vignobles Marrenon displays a pale golden hue with silver glints. The palate balances ripe stone fruit with honeyed notes and a whisper of toasted hazelnut, offering genuine complexity for a Luberon wine.
  • The Luberon's calcaire terroirs lend structure and mineral precision to this cuvée. Careful vinification has preserved the wine's natural freshness whilst allowing subtle oak integration—a wine of real terroir expression.
  • On the nose, expect intensity: ripe yellow-fleshed fruits, a discreet buttery oak note, and hints of spice and herbal infusion. The attack is suave and rounded, developing into citrus and noisette on the finish.

Product features : Vignobles Marrenon Doria 2023 Luberon Blanc

Breeding
Twenty percent fermented in barrels then aged on lees in oak barrels.
On the eye
Pale straw-yellow with silver glints. Clear and bright.
On the nose
Intense and layered. Ripe stone fruits—peach and apricot—lead, followed by a subtle buttery oak, caramel notes, and a whisper of spice and herbal tea. Genuine complexity.
In the mouth
Suave attack with good roundness and texture. Develops honey, citrus, and toasted hazelnut notes. The palate is well-balanced, with the wine's mineral structure providing a clean, lingering finish.
M. Francois
The calcaire soils of the Luberon produce wines of real character, and this Doria is a fine example. The 2023 vintage has captured excellent ripeness without excess alcohol—a wine that speaks clearly of its terroir. Recommended for those seeking genuine expression over obvious fruit.
