The elegance of Marsanne, expressed with clarity

  • This Marsanne from Domaine Louis Chèze represents the finest expression of the variety: a refined white wine that rewards those seeking complexity and balance in their glass.
  • Its aromatic character and textural finesse make it an accomplished companion to seafood, white fish and soft cheeses—wines that enhance rather than dominate the table.
  • Vinified with precision, this wine captures the essential character of Marsanne: a balance of generosity and restraint that speaks to terroir and craft in equal measure.

Product features : Louis Chèze "Marsanne" 2024 IGP Vin de Pays

Breeding
Aged in stainless steel to preserve the freshness and fruity aromas of Marsanne, with no oak influence, to achieve a pure and direct wine
On the eye
Pale yellow with golden reflections; bright and luminous.
On the nose
Fresh and expressive bouquet: white flowers, stone fruits (peach, apricot) and a delicate honeyed note that develops with air.
In the mouth
Round and ample on the palate, with good acidity providing structure. Stone fruit flavours (peach, pear) meld with white florals and a subtle honeyed finish. Silky texture with gentle minerality that maintains freshness throughout.
M. Francois
A generous and accessible white that showcases Marsanne's potential with clarity and elegance. Designed to be enjoyed young, it excels as an aperitif or alongside grilled fish, seafood and summer salads. Its versatility and purity make it a thoughtful choice for those who value expression over extraction.

DOMAINE LOUIS CHEZE

On the granite hillsides of Limony in Ardèche, Domaine Louis Cheze works 35 hectares within the Saint-Joseph appellation, on the right bank of the Rhône. Louis Chèze took over the property in 1978 with a single hectare, building the estate steadily around Syrah for the reds and Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier for the whites, with yields held between 25 and 40 hl/ha depending on the cuvée. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the consistency of its wines, the frank mineral expression of Limony's granite, and the commitment of three generations — Louis, Camille and Benoît Chèze — to one of the northern Rhône's most demanding terroirs. A dependable reference from the Vallée du Rhône.
