On the eye
Deep ruby robe with appealing intensity and clarity.
On the nose
Distinctive bouquet of red berries and dark fruits, complemented by subtle oak influence. The aromatic profile develops with air, revealing layers of complexity.
In the mouth
Powerful yet refined on the palate, with vibrant red fruit character and well-integrated tannins. The finish is persistent and elegant, leaving a lasting impression of balance.
M. Francois
This wine pairs beautifully with game terrine and venison preparations, where its structure and fruit character provide excellent support. It also complements aged cheeses such as Camembert, where the wine's tannins soften pleasantly against the cheese's richness.

DOMAINE FAIVELEY

Based in Nuits-Saint-Georges at the heart of the Côte-d'Or, Domaine Faiveley spans 127 hectares and encompasses 12 Grand Crus, making it one of the most extensive single estates in Burgundy. Founded in 1825 by Pierre Faiveley and led since 2005 by Erwan and Eve Faiveley, the estate works Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on east-facing slopes of limestone and clay-limestone soils, producing wines of consistent precision and fine structure. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the coherence of its vineyard holdings, the rigour of its élevage, and its achievement of organic certification in 2025 — the year of its bicentenary. A Burgundy reference we are genuinely proud to list.
