Elegant Bordeaux white from the heart of Pessac-Léognan

  • This Pessac-Léognan blanc exemplifies the terroir of Bordeaux's finest white-wine appellation, where Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon achieve remarkable finesse and structure. Each glass reveals the precision of the vintage and the discipline of the cellar.
  • The palate combines vibrancy with restraint—a wine that speaks of place rather than extraction. Subtle oak integration and mineral tension make this a natural choice for the thoughtful collector seeking authenticity over fashion.
  • A wine of genuine elegance, suited to the British table and the serious wine enthusiast. This is Bordeaux white at its most refined: food-friendly, age-worthy, and true to its appellation character.

Product features : L'Esprit de Chevalier 2023 Pessac-Léognan Blanc

Breeding
Aged in barrel with lees stirring for 18 months.
On the eye
Pale gold with crystalline, slightly silvered reflections. Luminous and perfectly clear.
On the nose
Restrained and refined. Subtle notes of roasted hazelnut and vanilla emerge without dominating the primary fruit expression. The bouquet develops with air, revealing mineral undertones characteristic of the terroir.
In the mouth
Lively and incisive, with good acidity and energy. The palate shows excellent structure and length, with a clean, mineral finish. The wine balances richness with freshness—a true expression of Pessac-Léognan's finest whites.
M. Francois
I recommend this wine with poached or roasted fish, particularly sole or turbot. It pairs beautifully with veal blanquette, roasted chicken, and delicate seafood preparations. The acidity and mineral character also make it an excellent aperitif. Drink now through 2028 for optimal enjoyment. — Nicolas François
