Breeding
Aged in oak barrels with a measured proportion of new wood, to enhance complexity without masking the fruit
On the eye
Pale gold, bright and limpid, with a luminosity that speaks to the wine's mineral character.
On the nose
Delicate white flowers and citrus notes lead, followed by subtle vanilla and a mineral undertone that reflects the terroir's limestone foundation. The bouquet develops with aeration.
In the mouth
Excellent balance between refreshing acidity and subtle roundness. White stone fruits, brioche and a persistent mineral finish. The structure suggests five to eight years of graceful development.

Domaine A. et P. de Villaine is a wine estate in Bouzeron, Côte Chalonnaise (Burgundy). Directed by Pierre de Villaine (co-manager of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti) and his wife Elaine. Around 30 hectares farmed organically. Appellations: Bouzeron (Aligoté), Rully, Mercurey, Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise. Terroir wines of finesse and precision.
