Initially reserved in youth, the bouquet gradually opens to reveal dark fruits—blackcurrant and blackberry—alongside red cherry notes, evolving towards subtle peppery spice as it develops.
In the mouth
The palate shows redcurrant and raspberry character, supported by fine-grained tannins that provide structure without heaviness. A wine of restraint and elegance.
This wine pairs particularly well with roasted poultry, whether simply prepared or in light sauces. It is also suited to lighter game preparations and will develop further complexity over the next three to five years in a properly stored cellar.

Les Vignerons de Buxy is a cooperative winery in Buxy, Côte Chalonnaise (Burgundy). Founded in 1931. Around 120 growers and 870 hectares. Grapes: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Appellations: Montagny, Givry, Mercurey, Rully, Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise, Crémant de Bourgogne. Good-value Burgundy terroir wines.
