Product features : Alain Jaume "Les Champauvins" 2023 Côtes du Rhône Village — Organic

Breeding
It is aged in stainless steel for the Grenache and in oak barrels of 3 to 4 years for the Syrah and Mourvèdre.
On the eye
Deep garnet red with good intensity and clarity
On the nose
Blackcurrant and plum lead, followed by garrigue and white pepper—the aromatic signature of well-sited Côtes du Rhône Village fruit. The bouquet develops with air.
In the mouth
Ample and suave, with a fine-grained tannin structure that feels integrated rather than austere. Grenache's natural sweetness provides textural richness. The finish is persistent, closing on notes of black pepper and liquorice with good length.
M. Francois
A wine of genuine balance suited to roasted duck with mushrooms, beef carpaccio, stroganoff, or spring lamb. The organic credentials and traditional approach make it equally rewarding as an aperitif wine or for informal entertaining.
