Gentle pressing, then shared élevage: 50% in stainless steel on lees, 50% in oak barrels for 12 months

Deep ruby with intense garnet hues

Layered and fruited: blackcurrant, blackberry and morello cherry, with a whisper of white pepper and spice

Broad and structured, with present yet supple tannins. The wine shows good weight and a savoury finish
Pairs well with roasted and grilled meats, game casseroles, charcuterie, mushroom soups, Mediterranean dishes, and robust vegetable preparations. Also suited to pizza, quiche and lasagne.

Vignerons Ardéchois is a union of cooperative wineries in the Ardèche (Southern Rhône). Bringing together over 800 growers and 6,000 hectares. Grapes: Syrah, Grenache, Merlot, Chardonnay, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc. Appellations: IGP Ardèche, Côtes du Vivarais. Diverse production of good-value red, rosé and white wines.
