The mineral elegance of Sancerre's finest terroir

  • This Sancerre expresses the distinctive character of its limestone-clay slopes through refined aromatics and pronounced minerality. The 2023 vintage captures the appellation's signature tension between fruit and mineral precision.
  • Cultivated under organic principles, the vineyard management at Domaine Henri Bourgeois reflects a commitment to sustainable viticulture. The result is a wine of genuine purity and terroir expression, without compromise.
  • For those seeking a classical Loire white of substance and finesse, this wine rewards careful attention. It offers complexity and restraint in equal measure—equally at home as an aperitif or alongside seafood and lighter dishes.

Product features : Henri Bourgeois "Côte des Monts Damnés" 2023 Sancerre — Organic

On the eye
Bright, pale gold with greenish glints
On the nose
Delicate and refined, with white stone fruit, citrus zest, and subtle floral notes. A whisper of exotic fruit adds intrigue without overwhelming the mineral backbone.
In the mouth
Clean and incisive, with pronounced minerality and white peach. The fruit is precise rather than generous, allowing the limestone terroir to speak clearly. A dry finish with excellent balance.
M. Francois
Excellent with fish, shellfish, and mildly spiced dishes. Yet this wine possesses sufficient character and complexity to stand alone as an aperitif. The 2023 vintage shows particular promise for those who value restraint and authenticity over obvious fruit expression.
