The art of vintage expression in a numbered cuvée

  • Cuvée 748 is principally composed of the 2009 vintage, a notably distinguished year in Champagne. This numbered release represents Jacquesson's commitment to capturing the character of a singular harvest.
  • The wine achieves a refined equilibrium between richness and freshness. Extended maturation on the lees has developed considerable complexity, with aromas that continue to evolve gracefully in glass.
  • Each numbered cuvée from Jacquesson constitutes a distinct expression of terroir and vintage. Cuvée 748 belongs to this prestigious series, where the numbering system reflects the house's philosophy of vintage-driven winemaking.

Product features : Champagne Jacquesson - Famille Chiquet "Cuvée 748" Champagne

In the mouth
Ample and layered, with flavours of ripe orchard fruits—apple and pear—alongside brioche and roasted almond notes. A pronounced minerality extends through the finish, whilst well-balanced acidity provides freshness and definition.
On the nose
Intense aromas of dried fruits, honey and butter, with citrus notes and a subtle toasted character from prolonged lees contact. The bouquet speaks clearly of extended cellaring.
On the eye
Golden robe with brilliant highlights; fine, persistent effervescence.
Breeding
Ageing partly in oak foudres and extended on lees, conferring the wine its creamy texture and complex aromas
M. Francois
Cuvée 748 exemplifies the balance and complexity that distinguish great vintage champagnes. It combines finesse with substance, making it equally suited to contemplative drinking or pairing with refined cuisine—foie gras, lobster, or poultry of quality. A champagne of considerable cellaring potential that will appeal to those who value depth and authenticity.
