Seven centuries of Burgundian winemaking expertise in every bottle

  • A reliable companion to fish dishes and seafood. The wine's mineral backbone and subtle oak integration make it particularly suited to grilled white fish, shellfish, and delicate preparations where a lighter touch is required.
  • The finish lingers with admirable persistence. Beyond the initial roasted almond character, the palate reveals a satisfying length that speaks to careful winemaking and proper élevage, leaving a clean, refreshing conclusion.
  • An excellent aperitif wine for informal gatherings with friends. Its approachable character and balanced acidity make it equally at home before dinner or alongside a charcuterie board in relaxed company.

In the mouth
Ample and rounded on the palate with fresh almond notes complemented by gentle toasted oak. A crisp, mineral finish provides excellent balance and prevents any heaviness, with good acidity maintaining freshness throughout.
On the nose
Intense and layered bouquet revealing roasted almond character alongside subtle floral notes and a whisper of hazelnut. The aromatic profile develops with air, showing good complexity for the appellation.
On the eye
Pale golden yellow with bright, luminous appearance and subtle golden reflections
Breeding
8 to 10 months in oak barrels, 20% new
M. Francois
This Chardonnay demonstrates the house's consistent quality across their portfolio. Particularly well-suited to a fine charcuterie selection, it pairs equally well with poultry, mild cheeses, and vegetable-based dishes. The wine's restraint and balance make it a versatile table wine for everyday occasions without pretension.
