In the mouth
The attack is lively and refreshing. Persistent fruit aromas unfold across the mid-palate, whilst the residual sweetness and textural richness in the finish create a well-judged equilibrium between acidity and weight.
On the nose
Citrus aromatics dominate the bouquet—lemon zest and grapefruit—with secondary notes of white stone fruit and a whisper of honey that hints at the wine's moelleux character.
On the eye
Golden robe with bright luminosity
Breeding
Traditional winemaking
M. Francois
This wine's balance of sweetness and acidity makes it an excellent companion to foie gras, where its citrus notes cut through the richness whilst its residual sugar complements the delicate flavour. Also suited to soft cheeses and desserts based on stone fruits or honey.

Nicolas françois, propriétaire passionné des halles de quercamps

CHATEAU HAUTE BRANDE

Situated at Saint-Avit-Saint-Nazaire on the Gironde-Dordogne border, Château Haute Brande covers 38 hectares of AOC Bordeaux on argilo-silty soils. A family property since the 1930s, the château is today guided by Éric Nicolas, who has committed the vineyard to certified organic farming — AB certification by Ecocert and Haute Valeur Environnementale status both achieved in 2019. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc yield reds, whites and rosés of genuine aromatic clarity. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the consistency of its organic commitment, the rigour of the Nicolas family, and the straightforward honesty of its Bordeaux wines. A reliable reference for those seeking a terroir-driven Bordeaux, carefully farmed and unpretentiously made.
