Breeding
Ageing in oak barrels (including a proportion of new oak) for approximately 12 to 18 months. This imparts a silky structure to the wine whilst preserving its freshness and the characteristic lightness typical of Chambolle-Musigny.
On the eye
Clear ruby with violet glints. Luminous and intense, characteristic of the finest Côte de Nuits wines.
On the nose
Elegant and fresh, with primary aromas of red berries—cherry, raspberry, strawberry—followed by delicate floral notes of violet and rose. White pepper and subtle minerality add complexity, whilst discreet vanilla and toasted oak from barrel ageing provide gentle structure.
In the mouth
Airy and fresh with silky texture. Delicate attack of perfectly ripe red fruits and developing floral character. Fine, well-integrated tannins lead to an elegant, lightly spiced and mineral finish with pleasing length.
